"In August 2014 Gary, Tom and the guys came to do a complicated piece of work to completely lift, waterproof  and replace the front path to my house, all the steps down to the basement area and to waterproof and re-render all the exterior basement area retaining walls  . it was an awkward, cramped space but with a lot of work involved.   Gary was the first contact and listened carefully to what I wanted.  He then came back again with Tom and other of his men to discuss the best way of doing the work and how long it would take.

I was impressed with the care they  took to make sure they had the brief correct and their communication from the start was great.  They came when they said they would and did what they said they would.  If anything changed or rain stopped play or things had to dry out before they could carry on Gary would call or text to let me know what was going on.
If something wasn’t quite right, they didn’t leave it until it was. I always had the sense that each one of them took pride in their work and I felt all the way through that they wanted to do a really good job for me.

They were thoughtful and careful around my visual impairment, nothing was too much trouble. Although they worked all day in the rain at times to get the job finished for me on time, not one of them ever complained. They cleared up carefully after themselves and left the site pristine. The front of my house and whole basement area is completely transformed: waterproof,  and has a really good finish.  I have regularly spaced safe steps now for the first time in years and it looks great. I felt the price was fair.  It seemed a lot at the beginning but when I saw how many man-hours and how much material went into the job I could see where  the money went, and so I had no complaints at all about the price.
